The import of Jute from India, the jute was made into sacks, ropes, backing for carpets, & that’s only a few examples of the large mills produced.
Jam is the marmalade produced by the Keillor family, oranges were imported also.
Journalism is the publisher & printer DC Thomson which still produce daily, weekly, and monthly publications, some names of the comics will be well known by visitors ……the Dandy & The Beano are favourites featuring the characters of “Desperate Dan & Dennis the Menace”
